Why QR Code by phanmemtonghop?
All generation and scanning happens in your browser. Your data never leaves the machine — no logs, no servers.
Change colors, add a logo, pick dot/corner styles, download PNG/SVG/JPG. No paywall, no watermark.
Every change (text, color, logo, size) is rendered immediately on canvas — no page reload.
Outputs follow international standards (Wi-Fi Easy Connect, vCard 3.0 RFC 2426, mailto RFC 6068).
Create a QR in 4 steps
- 1Pick a QR type
URL, WiFi, vCard, Text/SMS/Email, or scan an existing image. Each type has a tailored form.
- 2Fill in the content
Enter the URL or matching info. The QR preview updates as you type.
- 3Customize the design
Change foreground/background colors, pick a dot/corner style, upload a center logo (≤200KB).
- 4Download & print
Download PNG (raster) or SVG (vector for sharp large prints). Always test-scan with a phone before publishing.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a scan limit on generated QR codes?
No. These are static QR codes — the content is encoded directly into the pattern, no proxy server, so they work forever, for unlimited scans, free.
Do I need to sign up?
No. All 5 tools run 100% in the browser. No email, no account.
Does adding a logo break the QR code?
Not if the logo covers ≤30% of the QR area. We use error correction level H (max 30% tolerance) plus an option to hide dots under the logo to avoid scan interference.
Which format should I use for printing (banners, posters)?
SVG — vector, scales to any size sharp. PNG is best for web/email. JPG only when the background is plain white (JPG's lossy compression can blur small dots).
Do QR codes expire?
Static QR codes never expire. The QR pattern is just a way of encoding text — as long as the underlying text (URL, etc.) still works, the QR keeps working.
Can I change the URL after printing the QR?
Not for static QR — the URL is baked into the pattern. To change the destination after printing, you need a dynamic QR with a redirect URL. We're building that for Phase 2.
Can I scan QR codes directly from my phone camera here?
We currently support image upload only (take a photo then upload). Live camera scanning is in development.
Can I track scan counts on a static QR?
No — the QR pattern doesn't go through any server. Analytics (scan count, geo) will ship with Dynamic QR in Phase 2.
